Who’s to say what adulthood means anymore, when a hostile rental market, rising underemployment, and the decline of the nuclear family make all the old goalposts unattainable? Matt and his family-of-friends are trying to keep afloat in East Vancouver, living paycheque to paycheque with ever-lowering expectations for the future. But when an unexpected pregnancy forces them all to confront that rapidly approaching future, they must reconsider the limits of what a family can be, and weigh the lives they want to lead against the desires that are out of their control.
This play contains strong language and deals with mature subject matter. Audiences members should be at least 16 years old.
